Olivia Martson

Olivia Martson is a long time resident of New Haven. She lives and works in downtown New Haven and is thoroughly familiar with the pros and cons of urban living. From 1992 through 1997, she served as the Alderwoman for Ward 2, a downtown neighborhood immediately west of Yale University. She understands the distinct qualities of New Haven's many neighborhoods, such as what they can offer buyers, especially out of towners looking to settle in New Haven. Finding the right home in the greater New Haven area can be very challenging. Olivia specializes in urban properties from multi-family homes to condominiums and co-ops. Her Fine Art and Design background is highly advantageous when helping sellers emphasize the best qualities to show when preparing their homes for sale. Olivia graduated from Southern Connecticut State University (BA of Arts). In the community, Olivia volunteers her time supporting the New Haven Urban Design League and was City Plan commissioner for the city of New Haven. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys bicycling, reading and interior decorating. She is married to Sven Martson a freelance photographer and lives in downtown New Haven.
